Back in 2010, Toyota promised to deliver a production-ready hydrogen-fueled vehicle to drivers in the U.S. What once seemed like merely a dream has finally turned into a reality.

At this year's L.A. Auto Show, the Toyota Mirai wowed the crowd by making its world premiere. As you'll see below, the Mirai uses a built-in hydrogen fuel cell to send power to the car's front wheels. It takes just five short minutes to fill up and provides a driving range of nearly 300 miles.

Its sleekly-styled, futuristic design is just the icing on the cake. Take your first look at the marvelous Mirai in the clip below:

The 2016 Toyota Mirai might seem like a car out of the new Star Wars movie but, it's a real model that's coming to dealerships like Clearwater Toyota. While we wait for more info on the Mirai, stop by our Clearwater, FL showroom to browse our new model lineup today!
