The RAV4 is the eighth Toyota to join the hybrid lineup

Ever since the ever-popular Toyota Prius was released in the 1990s and soon thereafter become an eco-friendly American staple, the Toyota brand has been synonymous with green cars. Now an eighth Toyota model will join the current Toyota Hybrid lineup: the ever-popular Toyota RAV4.

The 2016 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid was unveiled yesterday at the 2015 New York Auto Show, and while specific specs have yet to be announced, it was revealed that the model will boast class-leading fuel efficiency, more horsepower than the gas-powered RAV4, and Toyota's Electric On-Demand all-wheel drive. Check out the stunning new model here:

To meet customer demand, all 2016 RAV4 models will feature more technology and interior refinement, including an available 4.2-inch gauge cluster display, a new 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, an additional USB port and 12-volt power outlet, and new cabin materials.

We won't see the RAV Hybrid models in our showroom just yet, but if you'd like to take a crack at the Toyota RAV4 or any of the hybrid models now available at Clearwater Toyota, stop by our dealership located in Clearwater, FL.
