Toyota Safety Sense - Putting Test Dummies Out of Business

Although we are kind of sad to see the struggle that the test dummy, in the above video, has had to endure, we are extremely happy to have Toyota Safety Sense require less test dummy involvement.

Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) is a technological system that is either included or available for most of the newer Toyota vehicles which either receive one of two different systems. The available Toyota Safety Sense systems are either the TSS-C (for the compact Toyota models) or the TSS-P (for the midsize and larger Toyota models). Both include the Pre-Collison System, Lane Departure Alert, and Automatic High Beams, but the TSS-P system, due to the vehicles' height and size, also include Pedestrian Detection, Steering Assist, and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control.

Each of these systems either alert or alarm you when another vehicle or pedestrian is in collision range. This gives you those extra precious minutes to either avoid it or prepare yourself for it. In some cases, these features may even brake for you.

If you'd like to test the Toyota Safety Sense for yourself, stop by our Clearwater Toyota dealership, in Clearwater, FL. We can offer you a test drive and explain how each feature works. If you still have questions, let us find you the answers today!
